The IELTS exam questions for every passage appear in a particular order. However, as a test-taker, you do not have to answer them in the same order. For the following reasons, test-takers are recommended to follow the order below to answer the questions:

  • This order prioritizes the question types that do not require a lot of work to get to the answer;
  • This order prioritizes the question types inside which the questions appear in order;
  • This order prioritizes the question types that contain useful keywords.
